48.Transformer - The Game

Join the battle for Earth as autobot or decepticon

Originally launched as a toy collection, Transformers soon arrived to television as an animated series that fascinated children all over the world.
Now these peculiar robots are back to fight for the Earth in a cinema near you.
This game enables you to take a more active part in the Transformers story, rather than just watching them moving on the screen.
You'll be able to control Bumblebee (your only option in the demo) and make your way through the city in search of enemy robots.
Transformers has very good graphics but unfortunately we cannot say the same about controls: mobility and aiming are difficult to get used to, especially when you're car-shaped.

47.Lego Pirates of the Caribbean

Puzzles and swashbuckling action with Jack Sparrow and friends

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is an action adventure game for suitable for all ages. Like the other Lego games, it brings a mix of gentle humor, puzzles and action to famous scenes from the movie.
If you've played a Lego game before, you'll know what to expect. You will play a selection of the biggest characters in the Pirates of the Caribbean, through the most iconic scenes in the movies. On PC Lego Pirates of the Caribbean looks good, with a cinematic score to accompany the action. Controls are via keyboard or joypad, and we found the keyboard setup to be a little awkward.
While Lego Pirates of the Caribbean may not be based on movies quite as iconic as Star Wars, there is enough comedy in the cut scenes to keep everyone entertained even if the plot gets confusing! Overall, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean offers a good mix of action and puzzles that is great fun to play through.
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is an excellent entry into the series, even if it doesn't do much to change the format of the Lego games.

46.LEGO Harry Potter

Play with Lego in Hogwarts

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 tells the story of the young magician's first four years at Hogwarts, in typical Lego style.
Lego has been the basis of many great kids games, giving Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 two potential problems: Firstly, we've seen lots of Lego games already, and secondly the movie tie-in games have been pretty weak. Thankfully, Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is a lot of fun.
You can play as Harry, Ron or Hermione and a host of others that are unlockable in the game. Like others in the Lego series, Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 puts a Lego twist on many of the memorable scenes from the original movies. The unique gameplay idea in this game is the spell system, that allows you to progress through the game using a range of fun magic. There is also a two player cooperative mode.
Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 continues the excellent series of Lego games, and is one of the funniest and most enjoyable Harry Potter games you will find.

45. LEGO Indiana Jones: The Orignal Adventure

Our favorite archaeologist is back

There's only a week left until Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull hits cinemas worldwide, a moment all true Indy fans like me have been desperately waiting for. If you're also among them, let me show you a trick to relieve your Indiana Jones anxiety: play the videogame!
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is an original mix-up of the three previous Indy movies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade), turned into a fun 3D platform adventure with some mind-twisting puzzles and a very unusual element: it's all made of Lego blocks

44.LEGO Star Wars II- The Orignal Trilogy

In LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, play through a fun Star Wars galaxy that combines the fun and endless customization of LEGO with the epic story, characters and action from the original Star Wars trilogy (Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi). With a unique, fun and funny take on the classic trilogy, LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance’s crusade to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces.
Features:
  • Experience your favorite movie moments LEGO Star Wars style, from Darth Vader’s epic battle versus Luke Skywalker, to the speeder chase on Endor
  • For the first time ever, mix and match characters in millions of ways to create your very own playable Star Wars character
  • Build and ride Star Wars vehicles, and ride creatures too

43.Lego Harry Potter 5-7

LEGO finishes the young magician's series in style

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is the latest in the series of cheerful LEGO remakes of popular movies.
From Star Wars, to Indiana Jones, Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean, the LEGO games have been building on their successes, and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 looks to be the most ambitious yet.
As with all those games, this one is both suitable for kids, while being fun for adults, with lots of references and in-jokes for fans of the Harry Potter stories. In this demo you have to solve puzzles using Harry, Hermione and Ron Weasley, each with their unique talents. You can play cooperative two player as well, which adds a lot of fun to the experience.
Graphically, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 looks excellent, and is typically well animated. The sound too, is very well implemented making for a very polished game. Curiously, we found that if you don't know the original stories, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 can be a little confusing - for example, if you don't know the name of Hermione's cat, the game won't help you! The legions of Potter fans won't mind this, but previous LEGO games felt more accessible!
The full game is looking excellent despite minor issues. With the official games of the movies never living up to the hype, it seems LEGO will come to the rescue with a title that does the series justice.

42.Lego Lord of The Ring

LEGO arrives in Middle Earth

LEGO The Lord of the Ringscontinues the series of family friendly action puzzle games, after LEGOHarry Potter, Indiana Jones, Batman, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean.
This demo lets you play through 'Helm's Deep', where our heroes in the fortress of Hornburg are under attack from the forces of the Wizard Saruman.
What we expect from a LEGO game is a fun take on the source material, and that is what you get with LEGO The Lord of the Rings. The gameplay is similar to previous games, with simple action and puzzles to work through. The puzzles are better suited to kids, since they can be tedious for adults

41.Lego Batman

Play as hero or villain in the LEGO version of Batman

After the success of other LEGO and movie mixtures such as LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Indiana Jones, it's time for the caped crusader to get the plastic treatment: LEGO Batman is here!
LEGO Batman: The Videogame blends the gloomy Batman universe with the hilarious, versatile world of LEGO pieces and figures. This means that on the one hand, the game features realistic 3D backgrounds set in the sinister streets of Gotham City; and on the other, all characters, objects, weapons and furniture in the game are made up of colorful LEGO blocks, which creates a fun contrast against the shadowy urban environment.
LEGO pieces add a lot of gameplay to LEGO Batman: The Videogame. For example, you can destroy any blocks yin your way to obtain coins.........

40.Lego Batman 2

Batman is back to save Gotham City

Play the first part of the new Lego Batman 2 game, the action puzzle game suitable for the whole family. You can expect the same great production values, humor and gameplay we have come to expect from the Lego series.
Lego Batman 2 is the best game in the Lego series so far, and it brings Superman into the story to fight evil alongside Batman and Robin. Great for adults and kids, the Lego games are excellent mixes of action and puzzle solving. Lego Batman 2 is no exception, but brings fantastic voice acting to the series as well.

39.Walking Dead

TellTale creates a game worthy of the franchise

The Walking Dead from TellTale Games is an episodic point and clickaction-adventure game that stays faithful to The Walking Dead canon while providing a new storyline.
To help The Walking Dead game feel more like the comic series that is it based off of, Telltale has chose to use a cartoon, cell-shaded art style as well as releasing the game in five episodes. Both of these details definitely helped to make The Walking Dead feel like you're playing an interactive comic book.
The Walking Dead focuses around dialog choices. Players are given a limited amount of time to choose between several dialogs choices, similar to Mass Effect's dialog .........

38.Mass Effect 3

The epic space saga concluded

Mass Effect 3 is the the excellent concluding part of Bioware's superlative action RPG series. Can Shepard save humanity and the galaxy from the mythical Reapers?
You will either start with a 'new' Shepard, or import your saved character from Mass Effect 2. The game starts in dramatic fashion, with Earth under attack. From there, you'll start an incredible journey to stop the Reapers, making decisions that might have catastrophic results for life in the galaxy.
Mass Effect 3 looks great, and the set pieces are really impressive. The cover based combat seems even tighter than in the previous game too

37.Mass Effect 2

Shepard returns for a dark sequel

The second part of the trilogy, Mass Effect 2 sees the return of protagonist Commander Shepard in a huge role playing action space opera.
It's well designed for new players, as well as people who completed the first installment and still have their saved game - their Shepard will be the same one they played before. The combat part of the game is much improved, making the whole experience much better.
Mass Effect 2 looks incredible, with excellent facial modeling and incredibly dramatic locations and landscapes. The massive storyline puts the fate of the galaxy in you and your team's hands, meaning decisions you make in the game feel very important, and the emotional impact is very big.
It's not a humorous game, but the scale, visuals and drama make up for that. Mass Effect 2 is a huge improvement on an already fantastic game, and means anticipation for Mass Effect 3 will be huge.
Any science fiction and RPG gamer will love Mass Effect 2, one of the best games of its kind ever made.
